When you opt out you can choose how you’d like to receive your confirmation.
You can receive your opt out confirmation by email or through the post. You’ll be able to tell us your choice when you complete your opt out. To find out how to opt out please see How do I opt out?
If you’ve not received your opt out confirmation this could be because the email address we hold for you is not what you expected or is incorrect. You can check the email address we have with your employer.
If you’ve opted out using a paper form we’ll send your opt out confirmation by post after your employer has processed your opt out form.
If you choose to receive your opt out confirmation by post, it can take up to five working days to reach you.
