How can I change my Nest retirement date?
What do I need to know before I decide to change my Nest retirement date?
- If you want to retire soon and need to bring your retirement date forward, you’ll need to choose a date that’s at least six weeks in the future on or after your 55th birthday.
- This will give Nest enough time to process your request.
- You can change your Nest retirement date by logging in to your online account.
- To change your Nest retirement date click ‘My Account’ on your dashboard.
- Click ‘Edit profile’ from the dropdown list.
- Click ‘Edit personal details’.
- You’ll be able to see a list of all the details we hold for you on your account.
- Click ‘Edit’ next to the Your current NEST retirement date is section and add your preferred date to take your money out.
- We’d recommend a date at least six weeks in the future.
- Click ‘Save’ when you’ve added the new date. A message will appear asking you to confirm that you’d like to change your retirement date.
- If you’d like to proceed please click ‘Yes, change my Nest retirement date’.
- The new date will appear and you’ll see a message confirming that your Nest retirement date has been successfully changed.
