For more information about using a waiting period please see Can I delay auto enrolment?
You’ll need to assess your workers when the waiting period is over and send statutory information to them. This is the information you’re legally required to inform your workers about automatic enrolment and their new pension rights.
You’ll also need to let all your workers know that they have the right to opt in early if you’re using a waiting period.
Our statutory communication templates are available in Word document format, which makes it easier to copy and paste the content. You can find them in our guides for when setting up your scheme for the first time, when enrolling a new worker and at your re-enrolment date.
