Yes, you can pay for part of a contribution schedule and go back to the schedule at a later date to submit the rest of your members for payment.
This is useful if you’re holding on to contributions during a member’s opt-out period or if you need to let us know members have opted out using an opt-out form.
You can process the opt-out form on the schedule when you receive it. You’ll then be able to go back to the schedule and validate the rest of the members at a later date.
This can reduce the risk of losing a form before it’s processed. It also means the member will receive their opt-out confirmation quicker or before the end of their opt-out period.
The same could be used when stopping member’s contributions or marking members as leavers. Please see Making partial or zero contributions for more information.
