You need to let your workers know how auto enrolment affects them, even if they’re not eligible for automatic enrolment.
That means telling them about the scheme you’ve chosen, if they’re being automatically enrolled, if they’re entitled to contributions from you and when they’ll be affected. Please see our statutory information when enrolling a new worker for more information.
You can use a waiting period to delay the date you need to automatically enrol your workers into NEST. If you decide to use a waiting period then you’ll need to let your workers know.
