When can I start making contributions for a leaver that I’ve enrolled back into NEST?
If you’ve told us the member left your organisation and this is correct you can start making contributions when the member becomes eligible.
You can start paying for the worker straight away if you marked them as a leaver by mistake. This means that you can use the day after the worker’s leaving date as the start date for their new enrolment.
You can choose to use a waiting period for the member if you wish. You may have chosen to use a waiting period to delay the date you need to automatically enrol your workers into NEST and start making contributions. You can make contributions online or through a file upload.
