What are NEST IDs?

Your NEST employer ID is a unique reference number that’s associated with your organisation.

A NEST delegate ID is specific to the individual using the NEST account.

When you register for a NEST account and log in for the first time you’ll be given a unique NEST delegate ID.

Once you’ve completed the NEST set up process you’ll be assigned a NEST employer ID which is specific to your organisation.

Your NEST employer ID will begin with EMP and will contain nine numbers, for example EMP000123456. This is case sensitive so make sure to use EMP and not emp when you enter this number anywhere in your account.

If you set up more than one scheme in NEST, for example one for each subsidiary organisation, then these will each have their own NEST employer IDs.

Each person using the NEST account will have their own delegate ID in connection to the employer organisation and these will begin with either EMPR or EMPDA, for example EMPR000123456 or EMPDA000456789. Again, these are case sensitive. For a delegate, there’s no difference between EMPR and EMPDA. These are for our reference only and help us identify the level of access for that delegate.
