Why would I need more than one worker group?

Having different groups helps you categorise your workers.

The main reason why you’d have more than one group is if you have different payroll frequencies. For example, if you have monthly paid and weekly paid workers then you’ll need to set up more than one group so you have a pay period for each frequency.

The number of groups you have can make a difference to how much administration you need to do when managing your scheme. The fewer you have, the easier it’ll be to manage.
