What are the rules for my password?
When you log into your online account for the first time you’ll need to create a username, password and answer some security questions. To find out how to do this please see How do I log into my account for the first time?
When you create your password you need to make sure it’s secure. The password needs to:
- be between 8-20 characters long
- include at least one letter
- include at least one number
- include at least one special character ! “ & £ $ % ^ > < * - @ # | /.
Passwords are case sensitive and can’t contain any of the other details we already have for you like username, date of birth, Nest ID or email address.
