Find out how much you’ve
saved with Nest

It’s easy to lose track of your workplace pension pots as you change jobs.

Your Nest pension is still here, invested for you. For your future.

Our award-winning investment strategy is designed to help your money grow steadily over the long term.

Set up your account log-in and password to see how your pension contributions are growing.

Set up your account log-in

When you log in to your online account with Nest for the first time, you’ll need to have 3 pieces of information to verify your identity:

  • Nest member ID
  • National Insurance number
  • Date of birth

Your Nest member ID is printed on the letter sent to welcome you to saving with Nest. You may have put it away with the welcome materials or other paperwork from a current or past employer.

When you don’t have your Nest ID

If you can’t find your Nest member ID, you can:

  • Get a one-time passcode by email. You can only get this passcode if you’re still using the email address your employer gave us when they enrolled you in Nest.
  • Get a one-time passcode by post. If you don’t know what email was used or you’re no longer using that email but you’re still living at the postal address your employer gave us, you can get a passcode sent by post to your home by confirming your address by post code.
  • Ask to get your member ID by post. If you can’t use the email and you’ve moved since you were enrolled, we’ll send a letter to your current address with next steps.

Protect your account after you’ve logged in

  • Update your contact details so important communications about your pension come directly to you.
  • Add your mobile phone number in your personal details to protect your pension account with multi factor authentication (MFA).

Get closer to your pension

On your Nest online account dashboard you can see the value of your pension pot today.

You can also add beneficiaries to your account – these are the people or organisations you’d like to receive your pension if you die before taking your money out.

Or use planning tools that can help you set a target for your total pension savings.

Or explore how your Nest pension is invested.

There’s a wealth of information for you when you log in.

Not sure if your employer used Nest?

The government’s pension tracing service can tell you which workplace pension is currently being used by your past employers.

You can also contact your past employers and ask them about any pension they set up for you. MoneyHelper has form letters to help you trace pensions.
